To Fight a Beast,
You Need a Beast.

Founder of Job Beast

In my 40s, after years of building businesses, I decided to go back to the corporate world. I had the experience, the skills, and the drive. What I didn’t have was a profile that fit neatly into the system.

Companies weren’t jumping at the opportunity. Job applications went ignored. It didn’t take long before I asked for feedback. A friend at a large corporation told me the truth: companies didn’t like my profile for two reasons. I’d been an entrepreneur for most of my career — which HR interpreted as instability. And I was in my 40s — apparently too old for some of these companies.

After six months of agonizing experiences that shattered my self-confidence, I decided to tackle this as an entrepreneur. I conducted thorough research and realized I wasn’t alone. Millions of people face the same dehumanizing bias.

The first prototype took four weeks. It solved my problem — I found a great job and got my career back on track. But the problem was bigger than me, and it was only getting worse. AI was reshaping the job market, creating new categories of people being left behind: experienced professionals filtered out by algorithms, graduates locked out by impossible experience requirements, entire roles being eliminated by automation.

The hiring system wasn’t just biased against age. It was broken for anyone who didn’t fit the pattern.

What We’re Building Toward

A world where job applicants are assessed by their skills — not filtered by algorithms trained on yesterday’s biases.

Job Beast exists to give qualified people a fair shot. Not by fixing the broken system — but by going around it.
